I do not use flashlights for work, just for personal.
Use them for poorly lit areas within the house, outside in the shed, and when in the country at night. I prefer to have a bunch of flashlights scattered around the house / shed so I don't need to go look for one when I need it. And a small i5t in the car in case of emergency.

In the past year we’ve had to cut power twice for 6-8 hours at a time, in our building to get our high voltage system replaced.

Being able to just leave obulbs on not have to worry about them going out before power was restored was super handy.

Use flashlights on the daily. I work as a Instrumentation Technologist in a Smelter, lots of dark dirty places, and need a flashlight for them. Use them at home almost daily lately at home too with renovations going on.

Of course I have a Olight I3t as a edc for any other times I need a light. The clip to go on my hat brim to free up my hands has come in handy more times then I can count!!

I use them every day around the house, and especially working on my car. I also keep a strobe flashlight "just in case" it's needed at some point in the middle of the night.

I've been using Streamlight products for years as a troubleshooter. Probably a dozen or more times a shift I pull it from my pocket. One member of our shop has recently purchased an Olight flashlight and that sucker is bright. I'm interested in hearing his opinion after long term use of the Olight.

I affix a light to my pump shotgun when in remote wilderness camp situations. Tons of black and grizzly bear up where I am. Having illumination is key. I could sure use an upgrade.
