Could be the slide rubbing on the barrel, which is normal too. Pretty much all Glock barrels rub slightly on the slide and will eventually look something like this:

That is how a pistol SHOULD look - someone has had some serious range time with that one - awesome!
Well, any glock I've had never lost that sound...it's the sound a glock makes when it's cocked...THOUGH I don't think I have put more then 5G rounds through a glock yet. I can tell almost every single one of my autoloaders by cocking sound alone, but the glock is definitely the most distinguishable. And that noise, still there after 5000+ rounds. I really don't know WHAT makes the sound though...I'll have to check but I am pretty sure my 17C with an aftermarket spring/guide rod assembly (metal) still makes the same chirpy noise.
Just put some oil on the guide rod. The sound will go away
