Actually,
I MUCH prefer a Glock G23/G27,
with 9mm and .357 SIG caliber conversion barrels.
You can drop a 9mm conversion barrel into a G23/G27 with only a 9mm mag,
or drop in a .357 SIG conversion barrel with no mag change.
You can't shoot .40 or .357 SIG in a G19 unless you swap out to a .40 slide as well.
You can load .40 ammunition down to match 9mm ballistics,
but you can't load 9mm UP to match .40 or .357 SIG ballistics
[ at least not if you are sane]

SO,
the G23/G27 pistols are just that much more versatile.
BTDT,
sold all my 9mm Glocks,
and now shoot only the .40 Glocks ...
with caliber conversion barrels.
If I could have only ONE pistol,
it would be a G23 with caliber conversion barrels.
This would be the most practical, versatile pistol on the planet.
If I could have only TWO pistols,
they would be a G35 and a G27,
again with caliber conversion barrels.
This way, with the G35, I have a much better Tactical/Match/Game pistol,
and with the G27, a slightly more concealable CCW/real world pistol.
