glock failure

agreed. they dont slam the gun, cause of bull#### excuses like ergos or trigger. they just prefer others. nothing wrong with that. FUK IM SOUNDING LIKE TDC!!##$%R

But its okay to bash the TT-33 for those reasons as is very common on here...

You need good ergos for yourself to control and handle the gun reliably and quickly and a trigger (which I NEVER once complained about) to send the bullets out on their way.

If I make you a gun with a 2" long and 1" wide grip and a 25# trigger...you will shoot the same as your normal gun, no problems right? As those are no excuse...

N/m...#### that...go shoot a Nagant revolver in double action and tell me how your IPSC score compare to your average score!!! No excuses!!! :)

I have never bashed any gun. Dunno what a T33 is lol. Dont care to look it up either. Only gun i bashed lately is any remington shotgun. As i think mossberg is the Glock of the shotgun world.

while im at it, i hate people that take a stock Glock and fuk it up by stippling it or putting all kinds of aftermarket #### on it trying to cover up there lack of practice, it drives me nuts.

Modern made Remington's are rust machines...first gun I bought was Remington 870 "tactical" in 2008. Took it out after school with some buddies during a light rain...and after 5-6 hours MAX the inside of the barrel and parts of the outside were already rusting out. Took it back the next day and bought a Ruger 10/22 and a butt load of ammo and never looked back.

Glocks are ugly...when someone "tree barks" their Glock (or any gun) I want to puke...

Do you guys realize that all the BS you have filled this thread with has likely kept us from ever getting an answer from the OP on what the actual problem is? I'm a huge Glock fan, and they are very reliable, but they can break, and they can even come from the factory with a broken part. Now, will you all STFU and maybe we can actually get some info on how this particular failure happened.

He is gonna test it out again and try a few more things...none of us can figure it out as we do not have it. Until then...chill bro :)

These Glock "issues" threads are happening more and more, why I started the talk/debate about them.

I suspect the issues threads are more common for two reasons, first, there was the RSA issue with a few Gen 4 pistols, but more importantly I think is that Glocks are becoming far more common in the civilian shooting world. More guns in new owners hands is always going to lead to more complaints about "issues."

A factory made fault is still that...they should have never left the factory when they did with all the issues gen 4 has and still does...the slide geometry is not right on them!!! My favorite it the " " added to the word issues...when people have videos or pictures of it and limp wristing is not THE issue, then what? They spent $700 on a gun to fake issues?!

^^Glock ####ed up their 9mm gen3's too. Mine was spitting brass all over the place and weakly until I replaced the ejector for a Gen4 "30274". Now it has strong ejection to the right.

Uh, no. You had issues with yours. That is not indicative of all Gen3 Glocks. Having personally owned nearly a dozen, shot at least a dozen more, and observed close to 100 others. None had issues. Your sample size is irrelevant.

Hate it or not, it may not be glock itself... Normally, i feed my glocks with MFS and reloads, but then decided to try out remington UMC ( the ones in yellow box). I had lots of FTE, stove pipes, slide wont lock on last round fired. Alternating among MFS, reloads and UMC... problems came back with the UMC every two to three rounds fired... No problems with the MFS and reloads. shooters that I spoke with also had some issues with the UMC.... May be the Remington had a bunch of bad UMC lots then.

Most of the time I agree with you, but on this one you just don't know what you don't know. I'm a Glock fanboy, but I'm not delusional. My sample size is the U.S.

Glock 9mm gen3's, especially G17, have been having issues for a few years since the M prefix serial numbers. Some people get ejection/extraction problems since the first round, some had problems at 2000 rounds, some changes have been tried, replacing the extractor, replacing the ejector, sending it back to Glock, Apex has developped a failure resistant extractor for the Gen4's and Gen3's and it doesn't correct every gun. Glock managed to #### up their most reliable gun and they don't know how to fix it. Industry professionals say it is more than likely a slide geometry issue. Heck even the 9mm Gen4's run better than the Gen3's now.

This is a fact, wether you like it or not.

I'm going to pass this on to a buddy of mine. He has a gen3 G19 that spits brass in everyone's face. Looking down into the port, his extractor seems to have a slight bend compared to my gen4 G19.

Since we're talking about glock issues....
I have 1, and only the 1 since day 1:

99% of the time, a reload from slide lock requires racking the slide.
1% of the time, the slide runs forward by itself.

I slam my mags in 100% of the time, and never touch the slide release while inserting the mag.
I have numbered my mags, and It's happened with every one of them.

Has anyone heard of a fix/part replacement for this issue?
Not looking for a debate on "faster". I want to have to rack it on every slide-lock reload.

Late production Gen 3s often came with the extractor now more commonly associated with the first Gen 4s. It was problematic and has been replaced. The Gen 3s that came with this extractor had a lot of issues on the extraction/ejection side. IIRC Gen 3s were built with that extractor for about 3 months.
