Glock holster

I got the bladetech idpa kit from target sports for $75. The holster comes with the option of feeding a belt through it or you can use the paddle attachment. No complaints from me.

I've read this a million times, yet our entire police force here wears them and I wore Serpa's on duty for years with no issues.

During those years, how often did you have to draw your gun while being shot at?

That's where they most frequently fail...people blow a draw and, under extreme pressure, the grip they're putting on their gun starts to cause a sympathetic flexing of the trigger finger as they wrench on the holster and try to force the locking tab in.

When (or if...to my knowledge people have died with their guns securely locked in Serpas, their belt loops torn from reefing on the gun) the gun comes loose, you don't have that ideal "flat on the frame" trigger finger that is so easy to achieve at the range.

And while you may not have had issues, the fact remains, the holsters are generating enough problems that they are getting banned by ranges, instructors, and institutions all over the place, because they are getting people shot.

+1 Bladetech

checked out a R/D Praetor Defense unit that was really well made but I have yet to order one

Raven FTW!! had one for a year now and still lovin it...another one on the way (damn 16 week wait on it tho...)

Lots of military units use it with out issue. I used one overseas and in training in Canada never an issue and its been 4yrs

Yup, no issues at all.

Guys like Larry Vickers, Ken Hackathorn, Todd Green, and other high-end trainers must not know what they're doing by banning the Serpa's from their classes.

It looks the same as a Blade-tech DOH, with a spacer for the thigh. As long as you have a good, somewhat stiff belt, the Blade-tech works great.

ya guess this one is adjusted easier for angle if you wish but didnt look like anything extra special to me so i just went with the bladetech.

Yup because there trainees are not smart enough to watch there fingers and shoot them selves ;)

Am suprise am still alive

Like I said, you must be right.

I'll gracefully bow out of the thread now, and leave you to share your wealth of knowledge and experience.
