Intersurplus has a bunch, but they are far from new. I picked up a Mauser 96 from there in 3006, thing operates and shoots great. But I think old guns are cool

It can hold its own okay. 300 savage velocities on 150s. Its a fun old round to hunt with.

Yup. Just need to watch for the new shipments and have cash in hand.

Got a nice m96 sporter in 6.5x55 from GNG too. Really nice figure in the wood, adjustable trigger, knurled bolt knob.

OP. There is an m98 8x57 on Guntoast for sale, 599 for that looks pretty decent. Actually looks like the one I picked up. Or4ange, who i think is a member here is the fella selling it. Id jump on it.

Zastava M70. New production Mauser. I was quite impressed, other than the stock inletting was rough. Shot well.

You might be able to find a used one, but Zastava has not been imported to Canada for a few years now.
