Glock is a great gun, but it is not designed for competition.
Hmmm, wasn't that the point of Production Division......

Fiber Optic Front Sights and an Extended Magazine Release, the most popular add ons for the GP6.BTW, other than adjustable sights and $185 extra for GP6C, what the difference between GP6 and GP6C?
Here's a couple other options:
Tanfoglio has recently added a "tactical rail" to the Combat and Combat Sport.
This makes the gun even more front heavy that the CZ-SP-01, and therefore 9mm is a joke to shoot out of them.

The Combat with fixed sights currently retails for $812. The Combat Sport with adjustable sights is $900. Dealers may sell for less.
They've also done the same treatment to the "L".
So add weight to a longer barrel, (requiring less powder for PF) Bomar - Style target sights and a
longer sight radius for more accurate shooting plus you can get a F/O sight for the front and you get this...

Currently selling for $980 and dealers may also sell these for less.
Please excuse the picture qualities; it's early and the Iphone was the only camera nearby.
Lol...I think IPSC should have put a weight limit on Production division, I'm gonna wait 'til they hit 4+lbs before I buy one...that should be by next year?
As yes...Production Division...from Grass roots to the biggest equipment race in IPSC...in less than 5 years.
I love how everyones thinks it's "cheap"![]()
Yeah, I remember when they said that about Standard division.....As yes...Production Division...from Grass roots to the biggest equipment race in IPSC...in less than 5 years.

well,..$950- $1800 for a production gun,...compared to an STI or SVI standard or Open gun at around $2400-$7000!, I still think production is the cheapest division. (Unless you shoot revolver with a model 10.

Lol..so the difference between hi end Production and low end open is $600...I think I'll shoot Open
Also buying one Open gun and having it good for at least 3-5 years vs. a new Production gun every year to keep pace...I think I'll shoot Open.
Of course in the end if competitors spent as much money training as the did buying new gear, we'd have a whole bunch of M's in this country...
