not to nitpick, but a chord is a sound that comes out of a guitar, the string is the thing you press/pluck/strum to make the sound.
Either way, that would get around the 'braided' part, since they're 'wound' instead.

Whatever works, works,,,but sadly, it works on other animals as well, causes undue harm and suffering in some cases, but whatever...if a guy wants to do his own thing regardless of the hunting and trapping regulations, that's his choice.
That's a great point... But some of us know that the set setup is most important... Also some of us... Like my friend... think the premade spring loaded setups are king... Expensive at first but reusable...
Well, in ontario for example, to use a snare with wire larger than 22 gauge would be illegal, or smaller than 24 gauge..
