I htink you will be fine. It's a good bullet, and an accurate rifle.

Iwouldn't want to stretch the range much, though.

30-06 on grizz

I would use any well made bullet of 180 gr or over,220 if you what to brake bones.
Bears are well biult ,even a black can take alot if you are not right on with shot placment.

I think 30-06 should do it, but I would go with a 180grain+ bonded bullet, and I wouldn't shoot anything inside 75 yards lol, I think distance is your friend this time.
