GSG Schmeisser STG 44 in 22LR Non-Restricted

Got nothing for ya. The door won't open unless the bolt is moving. Open the door from the inside with your finger or something long enough to push it open from the inside. Then cycle the bolt to see if you are picking it up with your charging handle. Once you have figure out how that works with and without a mag, then close the door and see if it functions.

If it doesn't at that point, you may need to consult your dealer or Blueline.

Opens up when I press it with my finger...

Just to confirm, when I pull the cocking lever back with a magazine in and release it forward, the dust cover should be opening up automatically correct?

edit: I'm using an empty magazine right now, does there need to be a dummy round for the dust cover to open up?

This is what I was thinking. Maybe needs an empty round to push that door open.

Looks sweet tho. I'm excited for it.

And for the one person who says it looks like a kel tec. I already know what his problem is. He just wants one and doesn't have cash for it so he can only bash others who do have the funds.
Don't forget people, he owns a "Lariet" hahahahahah

^Nope, issue was for some reason the bolt was stuck in open position and was not closing despite pulling on cocking lever. Finally got it to close and now it seems to be working! No idea why it was stuck in the open position.

The box is definitely not collectable lol

Just ordered a real Model 98 (Not sure for which country) sling from Tradex. Total with shipping to ON. was only $22.60. A nice option for those that want a worked in sling as opposed to the brand new repros out there!

Cheers,

Ian

Here in yUK, a lot nearer Germany than you guys are, AND in the same Euromarket, this great-looking replication of an iconic WW2 assault rifle costs us just under $1200.00.

In a cardboard box and without the scope rail.

Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.
