GunCare product I found, allows 10/22 to go a thousand rounds without cleaning, :)

after cleaning and oiling one of my less fancy SKS's and storing it well oiled with hoppes elite upright in the gun safe, with the action open, in a low moisture well vented environment, i found it a year later to be totally covered in surface corrosion through the entire bore and on the surface of the bolt.. even visibly creeping out to cover the crown, which is how i noticed it when i turned on the cabinet lights in there.

this gun had been METICULOUSLY cleaned of cosmo, treated repeatedly with hoppes elite product line, fired on a couple range days and cleaned thoroughly immediately after, then fully stripped and oiled before storing.

yet, entire bore full of rust, and firing surfaces of the bolt totally covered...

cleaned it nicely with eezox, along with a good warming up of the barrel and soaking of the bore in the stuff, then range days and havent even cleaned it after milsurp ammo for weeks at a time, zero corrosion... 500rounds of milsurp ammo then tossed back in the safe for 3 months, ZERO CORROSION. residue wipes off nicely... full cleaning last week brought the rifle back to "just bought" condition.
 
Seriously needed to wait a year to find out what this special oil is.. ? WOW talk about troll.. So what you go for a year and come back and necro all these old post useless of yours?
 
Where are you getting it from? I looked around a bit and see shipping to me as costing more than the product which makes the product too expensive by far.
