H&K G36 civilian photos and details. UPDATED

I recently bought a G36C clone based off the SL8.... but I will buy one of these again in the C version!

Of course you would. Darth Vader himself would be jealous of your black toy collection. Your probably gonna get a can for your G36 just to rub it in our faces I bet!

Yea i was thinking about the surefire 5.56 short version :) This gun has a camo pattern on it... I think i have the sellers pics some where ill post them.... nice thing is it came with 8 clear HK mags too. LOL

No design released in the last 50 years has markedly increased upon the hit probability of the M16FOW - until something does, they run what they've got at the lowest possible cost.
entrusting our countries safety to the lowest cost per year is why we have such a small military for such a large area, not very safe IMO

Well after read all argument about 416

I just wonder if 416 really that bad why Norway army recently pick the 416 over C7/8

and why US SOCOM and other world Elite like polish GROM still use 416 and not blow their face yet?

Maybe Because they are stupid ? lol

And also the US Navy Special Warfare Counter Terrorism Team used the 416 on bin Laden lol

Equipping "Elite Units" and the 'how' and 'why' of their equipment purchases would make a very interesting 26 volume set, if it were ever written. The first thing to get written in that 26 volume set would be "the shooters never make the purchase decisions". Largely speaking, as long as it goes bang, and will function adequately for the job at hand, and weighs as little as possible, it's good. Also, can we please refrain from calling the US Navy Special Warfare Counter Terrorism Team "Seal Team Six" - every time I hear that I think about #### Marcinko telling the world how great he is. Which was part of the reason the name was changed in the first place.

For those who believe that front line guys get to decide what will be purchased for them to carry into battle

This don't make sense.

416 is more expensive and heavier than C8

If the shooter never made decision. The higher ranking guy should pick the cheaper and lighter one
As long as it goes "BANG". No one should pick 416 at all

Also Norway army was testing G36KV SG551 and C8 for a little while
And it's very funny they end up picked up 416 which none of above

So I guess hater always ganna hate.
If elite don't use them. Then it's no good for sure
but if elite does use them. It's because they don't pick their own weapon
and the higher ranking official most know nothing about firearm and stupid

So either way it's no good. xD

I guess those Norway higher ranking officers most don't know what they are doing by not pick the C8

and they are also not as experienced xD

The troubles the norweigians were having was with the automatic gas regulator which has since been remedied. Also if no suppressors are used, and a narrower band of ammo is used the rifle can be ordered without the agr altogether

As with absolutely everything purchased by, built for, used by or considered for use by US troops, politics plays a disproportionately large role, frankly it's the same to some extent everywhere. If HK said they were going to build a plant in Quebec solely to build rifles for the CF, and another one in Ontario solely to build pistols and grenade launchers, the CF would look very closely at HK's products - if those plants were in politically significant ridings, I'm sure we'd see change.
