H&K UMP/USC - anyone have one or shoot one?

I've shot one in full auto back in the US. It's a fairly light weight gun and the muzzle rises quickly after the 3rd round in full auto. I bet the Kriss won't be doing that. I the gun though. I just love 45 auto sub guns.

h man that looks sweet. Did you paint the plastic or stain it that od greenish colour??

It was initially black (stained black from Grey) and then I decided I wanted it green so I used the Krylon Ultra-Flat OD-Green Fusion paint. Seems to work pretty well, and it's cheap and easy to do. The ultra flat series paints are really easy to do, as long as you don't over-coat it it's a pretty much fool proof flat colour. The ultra flat black is really nice as well.

Painted the mag well on the UMP lower to give it a more MP5-ish profile, give it a more unique look!

I loved mine :( I miss it so much. I like it better the my ps90. Im trying to find a new USC but no one has them in stock :(

I shot a USC back when we first started seeing them here in Alberta. It wasn't bad and I was really shocked how accurate a .45 could be with a longer barrel.
Before you jump on the HK train make sure you check out how much it costs for spare magazines and parts to do any conversion you may want to do to it.
The costs involved in doing up an HK to end up with the same thing as a Vector may change your mind.

wait wait what?

two? fifty?

Does the mag have a hidden light laser built into it?

And is there a third party option for like . . . ya know . . . 30 bucks? Because usually when I spend 30 bucks on an AR mag its the best damn AR mag I've ever owned.

Yes, and the decimal point is in the correct place.

What I want to know is does it include cuddle time after you pay for it.

It's HK, so this probably means quality time with "Herman the German". Still game? ;)

From what I understand the price is due to a 3rd party that does the 5 round legal pinning prior to the entering Canada. This is what Wolverine supply and R. Nichols both have said.

Too bad you are in QC there is a used one (USC) at target sports in Ontario. Just was there today and saw it. the guy wants 1850 for it. 2 mags inclu. condition looks pretty good. you can probably offer less and get it, it has been there quite a while. I was thinking about buying it.... but they had and ACR! haha.

Yes pinning a mag usually costs around $200.
That's just a crappy excuse
I think it's because we suck and they hate us.

I shot the Kriss f/a and the UMP f/a in the states recently and I was a bit surprised at how well I could control the UMP better then the Kriss. The Kriss was too high of a rate of fire so maybe that was the problem for me. The UMP was a softer recoiler compared to the Kriss as well. I still like both guns and I even recently bought a Kriss semi.

Price from HK has not really changed. If you look at the prices for the 10 round USC mag anywhere else in the wourld it's much lower. In Europe a USC mag is 70 Euros = $98 CAD. In the US its $64 USD. HK does not do the pinning of the mags. Its 3rd party

Here is mine, more on the unconventional side ;)

Definitely an awesome gun, although the conversions are pricey they are awesome guns!
