Handgun transfer wait times?

my last two were next business day. both were purchased from a retailer within my province.

I purchased a pistol privately and an AR through a dealer within the past couple of weeks. BC CFO processed both of them in under 24 hours.

I did two private transfers a couple weeks ago, each one took 1 day to complete.

Private transfer to Ontario took 2 days. One previous took almost a month.

An update on my order.

It took a week exactly... I double checked the original date the firearm transfer request was made, and it was last week...

So to give you an idea of what recent wait times are like, my AR took 2 weeks, and the pistol 1. These were online purchases, and the company I bought them from is one of the absolute best in Southernish Ontario.

For me lately its been about three weeks. I always ask and they always say they are very busy. So lots must be happening ??

Just had one done, (in Ontario) from a retailer, in 3 days. I called in to complete a private transfer yesterday, we'll see how long that takes.

Bought from SFRC last Wednesday, transfer started Thursday, transfer completed this Thursday, picked it up today...

So one week for myself.

Two transfers in August. One was 3 days through a retailer, second one was around 5 days from private sale.

Registration certs on the other hand are taking 3+ weeks to arrive.

I've had them done the same day. Call them in the morning, call back at 1 pm and emailed to me at 4 PM. The longest was a full day , from Ontario .

Pistols less than a week. AR type was told minimum 4 weeks minimum wait by Quebec CFO and that's what I waited back in January.
