Frustrating to say the least! Anybody manage to get through without using shady techniques? I've been trying 2hours+ straight with no luck and am wondering if I am wasting my time.

After 179 calls I finally got through to speak with an agent to complete the transfer process. Over 200 calls last week without getting through to someone. He told me that he estimated it would take at least 6 weeks. They might hire more staff but they take 4 weeks to train anyways.
The agent also told me that I had to wait until myself and the seller receive the registration transfer confirmation before I can pick it up. However, the seller thought I could pick it up now that we have both called in. I don't want to waste my time trying to call the CFO for clarification so can someone help clear this up for us?
Thanks Henryboy. That's what I thought but I hoped I was wrong.
And yet still crickets from the Sask CFO for transfer started the 31st and the 1st. I thought Sask CFO would be better organized. Oh well fingers crossed.
Did both the buyer and seller call the CFC to initiate and complete the transfer?
Yes, Henryboy is correct but when you’re talking to them while doing the transfer, ask them to put your email address on the transfer request form they send to your CFO. That way you’ll get an email advice when the transfer is completed by the CFO. Then you can mail the firearm right away after getting the email confirmation. The registration certificate will come in the mail some weeks later.

I am going through a dealer both orders say transfer pending or awaiting clearance. Was told not to phone that it would be handled by the dealer
Trudeau and his laughable plan to curb gun violence is only adding value to blackmarket handguns and increasing incentives to smuggle in more.
