has anyone tried instaling one of the Magwedge quick rails on a VZ58?

I guess you just can't be lavender with these rifles. With a little force the pin came right out, the rail looks awesome! I will see if I can figure out the pictures,
Cheers
Travis

This is a rear sight that one can use with their rail system so as to have a backup sight that makes use of the original front sight post on the AK platform.

Perhaps with some tweaks and design changes there could be a gen 2 that sits slightly lower? Just throwing it out there. :D

Lol.
Did you ship from maple ridge?
If so it says it was shipped last Saturday the 28th. Expected delivery the 13th. No worries. Not a big deal. It'll get here when it gets here.

There were two that went late .... i guess one was yours.

I think l had to make changes to the address in your shipping label and that delayed me a couple days.

Here are some pics of my installed rail, as promised

Here are my kwik rails on 2 of my vz rifles:

This one is wearing a rare Browe Combat Optic in 7.62x39 bdc & green chevron. What a sweet set up this is!!!!!

And the mini is wearing a Holo Sun red dot......

So long as these rails hold zero, this will be my favourite set up then.

Oh sure....after you sell me the cover mount!! ;)

Please test'er fully and report back!

Lol, i know!!!!!!

I'm not a fan of having the optic to far away from my eye. Also the Browe has a short eye relief so it works best where it is.
I'm gonna test these mounts out good and if not then I'll probably go back to the dustcover rail

Looking good ..... keep an eye on the location of the front ring, that location may cause issues with stovepipes. Bring some tools with you on your next range visit just in case you need to shift it forward more. Also check the botom corner of the forwrard ring for signs that that ejecting shells are hitting it.

Thanks for the heads up,
I did try to keep the front ring as far back as possible, Ill keep you posted once I get to the range.
