Shrubmaster is junk, period...

I'm inclined to agree with above statement. Aimpoint Pro is a good starting optic, but a T1 or H1 is where i would start. if you feel you need magnification, run your rifle for a few months on iron sights (never hurts to get good with them) then i would go with a SpectreDR. I loved my LE6920 with a SpectreDR, great glass and built to last. If you intend on keeping your rifle "old school" m4, any decent 2 point sling should do it. I can't remember if the Magpul edition comes with quick release or not, probably should i think. Im not a big fan of the UTG bipod, a good light weight foregrip and a sand bag is the way to go.
just my opinion, but as a fellow Tavor owner i like to keep my muzzle end of my AR's as light as possible.

I wouldn't go that far, there fine with most shooters needs.
That may be true, but for the same or similar money you can buy a properly built to spec rifle, so why short change yourself with a Bushmaster??

i just ordered mine from p and d in Edmonton( 6920 mp-fde magpul instock), I don't mind paying a little more then irunguns, as I hear bad comunication skills from that group are a problem and I know that p and d takes care of their customers. plus I should have it this week( i hope because it is hard to sleep and walk with the perma chub I have now)
People are egging on Bushmaster, but the fact is that Remington, under Freedom Group, won a 50,000 unit contract in Philippine against Colt and FN just a year ago. They also won a smaller multi year 24K unit contract to supply the US army back in 2012. Not saying that Bushmaster's commercial offering is "mil spec" blah blah blah, but bushmaster/Remington these days certainly has the capability and know-how of producing military grade M4 type carbine.
Depends on the Bushmaster you buy, some are made to quality specs I have found.
That's nice, some are made to quality specs(not mil spec). All of the DD, LMT, Colt, CC, BCM guns are made to MIL SPEC. I wonder which brand I would choose that will have the highest chance of offering a quality product????

I used to have an agency pre-owned bushmaster that likely had well over 20,000rds through it, it held up as well as any of my other ar-15's. It was beat to hell and still ran great.Buy all 7 base models and run 20,000 rds through them with proper cleaning and lube and then run a Bushmaster, and you will see if the price difference is worth it for 90% of shooters out there.
Run it in the mud, drag it a little with in reason, drop it a few times and record the data.
Who is going to do that? I doubt anyone will.
on 20 to 30 rd mags fired within reason it will be interesting to see how long the Bushy lasts...
