Seen these? Decked is the maker

Hi lift is only dicey if not properly trained in its use or the jack has not received proper maintenance.
It is the single most indispensable piece of recovery gear IMO. Learn how to use it safely, look into a jack stabilizer if you are not comfortable with it and keep it cleane and lubed and you should be able to get out of anywhere you could reasonably be taking a Sierra...
Especially if you are adventuring on your own.
Add a set of maxtrax or the smittybilt version so you don't have to use trees and other stuff for recovery.

Full exo-skeleton cut out the box fenders that wont even allow 33s, custom lift at abby spring or BCC

but realistically get a headache rack, winch mount bracket that snaps on the bed/frame mounts, collapsible pulley system that spins on the headache rack. Its a sweet setup for hunting

The decked or other bed systems are great and highly recommended. Im personally a large fan of truck caps since ive had to make arrangements to sleep in one more than once and they keep everything out of the elements, fitted with a rack very useful and the storage will never end.

Im still a fan of the axe over hawk lol, the hawk is tacticool but my truck always has a full size axe and a sledge in it (also a chainsaw on good days, never seems to be there on the days where you wish you had it) but that's opinion and im shure you will get creative if you need to.

The last thing because you pretty much seem to have it covered but haven't seen mention is tires and wheels, bead locks are the way to go for anything that may see rough use changeability, if your not in a rush but flexibility is amazing have never needed the winch on the truck with bead locks when you can let out air and gain traction (paired with good quality
tires). A huge lift is absolutely not necessary, suspension upgrades and having things tuned will go farther than slapping a 5 foot lift every time so the 35s should do just fine.

You guys have a very nice truck and im looking forward to seeing what will come of it.

Sorry, just noticed that I did put 35's, they are like 34's (what I meant to type). 33.8 or something like that.

I'm partial to the mazzula long travel kit myself.
Lifts are for posing, mid travel/long travel up front and deavers out back are for getting at it !

Candles. Best way to keep the interior of the vehicle warm if you break down in the winter and have to wait.

Saw to cut down trees that may fall across the road. Happened to me a lot in BC on back roads.

Pick

Inreach SE satellite communicator. Absolutely brilliant piece of technology, works anywhere, 2-way communication and cheap to buy/use.

A different option for the bed of the truck is a dimond back, you can put 2 quads on the back and still use the box, it fully locks and it took me about 30min to install mine, and it can come off pretty fast if want to take it off.

I roll with alot of survival gear in my truck, and it adds about 3 more liters per 100 km.

I'm sure you could find somewhere to put a 1000' spool of paracord.

+1 on this. I've used paracord to pull a car out of the ditch before. I've also used it to lift out an engine from a car. I keep 500ft in both my vehicles, and 100ft in my EDC bag. Great stuff that takes minimal space.
