Does the MR556A1 lower accept any/all "mil-spec" uppers?

I heard the first MR556 versions did not.

Your correct the A1 accepts any lower or upper.

I was told the real deal factory 11.6" is coming near the end of the year. The order is already made or will be made shortly by the distributor ( I forgot what exactly I heard ) They were just made available for ordering by HK Germany.

I've had more than 1 AR in my time, but those HK patrol carbines look very nice. Butts might be a big bigger than my liking, but still very nice. I'm like that with other things as well.

Here's a close up of the MR223A3 with the handguard off. You can see that the HK factory barrel, is a "bull" barrel.
