I just got home from the shoot at Base Borden, and I shot my G-36K (clone) at 200-300 yards, and I came in first place in accuracy at 300 yards. (Earned myself a 6 pack of beer for that one. )

Since yours is the real deal, not some 95% conversion, I would expect it to outperform mine...

Actually... not so much. The barrels have the same twist rate. A non-restricted should have a longer barrel, therefore higher velocity and increased stabilization. Also the SL8 trigger assembly is a 'target' variety vs a stock G36(x) which will have the 'military' (ie far stiffer) trigger. My SL8 is about 4.5 lbs pull, my G36K is around 10.

If the barrel crowning was done well(if the conversion barrel was done at all) and all things being equal the conversion should be capable of tighter groups.

Unless you drink those 6 beer first

You are not because you think of the rich as filthy and dirty. No one wants to be filthy and dirty so by having the belief set that the rich are filthy and dirty subconsciously defeats your conscious desire to be rich.

Just had the K to the range. I am going to keep it light. No rails, and no vertical grip. The last time I had a K, I had it all loaded up with rails, toys, and various crap, and it was quite heavy.

What is it that defines the 'P' variant as opposed to the 'E' variant which is the main battle rifle for the Bundeswehr... I think?

The fun trigger is swapped for a single fire trigger group. The P is for polizei. Otherwise it is identical to the E.
