Having the Holosun and the original Aimpoint side by side just need no talking, quality is differenciable... But for one third of the price the Holosun is a viable solution...JP.

What a shame. I wont buy optics from China.
I'm made in China. And my wife hasn't returned me. Yet.
I'll be picking up a Holosun in the near future myself. A guy on YouTube used it to play fetch with his German Sheppard and then froze it in a block of ice overnight before laying in on a concrete floor and hammering it out, the thing was still going unaffected and still holding zero.
I'm not going to Afghanistan that I'm aware of and these sorts of tests are 99.9% more abuse than optics will likely see with any owner, especially me. At 1/3 the cost it's a no-brainer, I'm aware of QC issues with Chinese products but buy with utmost confidence after I've done my research, this isn't my grand dad's China anymore.
The Holosun mounts, how many sections of rail do they cover? I'm looking at alternative mounts and am curious.
