Don’t shoot shoulders with a lead bullet and you won’t have that problem. Try aiming behind the shoulder next time.

Sigh. The moose would not co operate. And he refused to run farther down the road so the bullet would preform better. Maybe if I was filming a T.V. show on a ranch it would have worked out better. Hornady says the bullet is designed to work at all practical ranges so I assumed that also meant 80 yds. The bullet sucks and I will always use Barnes Tripple X from now on. Why use a sketchy bullet when you can use a proven performer at ALL ranges. But thats my opinion and that is what I will use. And I won't be posting bullshiitt groups at 600 yds.

Shoot the moose at 450 yards through both lungs with the barnes triple x and see how much you like it then. For hunting out to 500 yards it's impossible to beat bullets like the partition and accubond.
