Just wondering because it looks like polymer to me, which is quite durable and strong. But I don't know how well it would hold up to abuse, like being dropped on the ground accidentally while out coyote hunting. It would just be annoying to have happen so I want to know ahead of time if this is worth it or not. I want a VZ58, but there is too small a selection of 7.62x39. I don't want to shoot corrosive, surplus ammunition. .223 is cheap and plentiful and I think the AR mags would probably be better mags than the plastic .223 mags that come with a .223 VZ58. So that's why I'm wondering.
Any feedback?
Also, do PMAGS work in Vz 58's with the magwell adapter? Thanks!
