So on this years hunting trip my buddy put the moose down on the Friday, and we decided that seeing that we will be getting the meat cutting equipment messy with the moose, we would hold out one more day to see if we could pick up a Wt or two to add to the freezer.
It had been a poor showing for WT bucks all week, lots of does with fawns (usually twins) and only a few little spikers. Around 4pm I came across this little guy. Plus or minus 86 yards, non-supported, I let the black powder burn. 250 grain Hornady SST, he obviously dropped on the spot.
When putting the tender little guys in the freezer you don't want to waste any meat.
