How long do I need to wait for shipping ?

Yes, They're busy and they are updateing their website too. I brought a crate of 7.62 few weeks back and it is here today. It took little bit longer than usual, but no worries, you will get it soon!. I hope this help.:cool:
 
Last order I had with them made mention of the fact that they are upgrading the shipping notification system and that they had to do it manually right now.

It showed up earlier than expected though with little notification.

I tried calling first and got a message that they were not taking calls due to the rush and to please e-mail them, which I did and got one e-mail with the same info that I had got when I placed the order.
After I spotted that the web site said that the order was "processed - charged and payment completed" I was expecting that I would get an e-mail with a tracking number as indicated in the e-mail I did get.
After 4 days I tried to e-mail for an update and nothing so after another 4 days I tried another e-mail and still nothing.
I know that they are busy and I don't mind having to wait a bit, I would just like to be kept informed of my order/shipping status if this was done I would be fine with it and this post would have never been posted.
I hope that Canada Ammo sees this and can maybe do something to keep us customers up to date on our orders.
Also please don't turn this into a rant on poor service(not that anyone has done so yet) as these kind of delays can happen to the best of them and it is happening at the moment to Canada Ammo, I wish them the best of luck in getting everything back to normal.
 
I got a e-mail back my stuff will be shipped Monday. All I wanted was a update and I got it so I am happy. I am a first time buyer with them so had no clue about shipping times.

we made an order may 30th and haven't received it yet or even confirmation its been sent, 4 days from Vancouver to Burns lake via Canada post, were is the order?

and NO I'm not bashing anyone here just would like to know were the order is, tried calling/emails no response

URGENT: Need to cancel order

Hi,

I put in an order last week that I urgently need to cancel.

I tried to call but the recording said you guys weren't taking calls due to the high volume of traffic you were receiving.

So I sent an email over the weekend to info@canadaammo.com but haven't received a reply. Is there anything else I need to do? I realize you guys are busy but I really need to make sure this gets cancelled ASAP.

Did you pay by credit card and get a message from them (Canada ammo) it's been charged if NO then cancel with the CC company.

I did pay by CC and I got a message that said they've received the order. It didn't say anything about the card being charged though and when I go to their site and put in the tracking number it says: "New order - received and not yet processed".

I checked and my CC has not been charged either.

So hopefully it's not too late - and hopefully they see this and reply. Though if they do end up charging it, I'll just cancel with the CC company like you said. Good idea, thanks.
 
If they accepted the payment, which they normally do within 2-3 days you might be waiting a while for your refund. Their policy is to issue refund by check which takes upwards of 30 days. I found that out hard way as i cancelled on a friday and was told by one of their employees the check would be mailed the following week, i found later it can take up to a month.

Hmm. Sorry to hear you had trouble.

Like I said, the order says it hasn't been processed yet and my card hasn't been charged. Plus I've sent a couple emails and posted on here, so hopefully I can catch someone's attention before anything is done.
 
I am on my 3rd week of (desperate) wait. Got the processing mail after 1 week, still not shipped. My order was placed around May 20th.

ps: my order does not involves a firearm.
 
If they accepted the payment, which they normally do within 2-3 days you might be waiting a while for your refund. Their policy is to issue refund by check which takes upwards of 30 days. Love to see the agreement they have with their bankers that allow them to do cash advances .. Refunding with check or cash as opposed to CC refund is a cash advance .. Then again Canada Ammo may be doing enough business to generate their own terms .. But unlikely ... Anyway I retired from banking a few years ago .. Maybe it has changed .. Again .. (FRAUD ALERT) is pretty big and any refund on (FRAUD ALERT) is Returned to the CC .. Serves (FRAUD ALERT) to put the $ in your account but they can't .. So I would think a CC refund in this case if the $ get taken ... Just my two cents

I brought that fact up with them and got no traction, though my refund-by-cheque did get expedited somewhat. I worked retail a lifetime ago and know well about CC refunds and forbidden cash advances. Of course that was a lifetime ago...
 
I've cancelled with them once before and it was pretty easy to do online. IIRC Log in then go to order history, find the order and click cancel
 
The issue here guys is that when they process your credit card, they lose 3%. When they credit that back to your credit card, they lose 3% again. Unreasonable to expect them to eat a 6% loss on the total value of your order because YOU changed your mind. That's how I see it anyway.
 
Redblack - I tried that right away but either that functionality has been removed or I'm just to blind/dumb to find it :p.

8 ball - I realized that as well, which is why I was trying my damnedest to get ahold of them before they put the charge through. Makes life easier for everybody.
 
Just checked my email and it looks like I got through. I got a notification that the order was indeed cancelled.
