How many of you have a pair of the same Firearm

I've got a couple of P38 s I bought one for my collection then found a cheaper one . I could'nt turn down the price so I bought it as well

I have ordered and found consecutive numbered pairs of various firearms over decades
Have a consecutive numbered pair of TRW M14's that I was fortunate to get on an import I did

I will soon, but more out of necessity than love for that particular firearm. If you compete in any chosen discipline it doesn’t make sense to spend thousands on travel/hotels/entry fees/ammo and hours of time on permits and paperwork just to have your gun go down at destination. A second gun is cheap insurance.

Exactly right. Anything I compete with, I always buy a backup. Production, Revolver, and Standard divisions, Duty Pistol, even PPC1500 lol

Got a pair of Hi-Point JHP in 45 ACP. First one was a POS too, but I'm a slow learner.

Now they are not so much of safe queens, as they are dust collectors!

Don't wanna put them on E.E., lest it gets a rep. for selling overpriced junk!

i tend to not buy the exact same gun because i like variety

but i did buy multiple glocks of various length and sizes and calibers

i bought a canik mete sfx and a rival to compliment it as well as the SC model because price is too good to pass up ($650) and it looks like a fun gun.

i panic bought a ODG PDP then bought a black one few days later as I wanted the black one. Silly, I know. ODG will be hitting the EE or consignment to free up funds to add something different to my collection if it makes it here on time

Other than Tokarev's not really, and even those I got from different countries because they're cheap and they work and I love the calibre. I have two Glock 17's,,but they're different generations. If you really love the platform its never a bad idea to have two of the same gun,,,Im not into modifying but if you are,, you can keep one stock. Also, if you compete with one or use one in the field a lot and it gets abused, its good to keep a safe queen as a backup, or to start using if you retire the other one.
