will this rifle come with scope mounts? if so it'd be nice of they would do a 42mm obj MAX, not a 50 like so common with Rugers (too high!)
I think TBs comment was about the overly high rings that come on them. Most folks here (myself incl.) would like a lower ring set.I would think it comes with scope rings? Every new Ruger rifle I've ever bought had a set in the box...
I don't want a scope at all.. but a peep sight that would fit to the Ruger receiver would be pretty sweet

.

Should come with rings. only spec edition that i've ever seen that didn't was the 50th anniversary 45/70. It might be something we can request anyway. Ultimately, nothing is free and I'm sure they'll provide rings, like they do with all other #1's and add it o our cost(don't get me wrong, its a good deal)The 77 I have in .257 Roberts came with rings, that much I remember. The No.1 V in 22-250 came with rings as well. As neither one has sights, it would be kind of useless without rings. Now I'm not sure if No.1's with sights come with rings or not.
Hey Clay, whats' the answer? Or anyone else...![]()
I've got a Leica 1.75-6x that might find it's way on one. Would have to have quality quick release rings though...
Who the hell scopes a Ruger No1?![]()
