How to make AR15 selector point at full auto spot?

Incorrect. faizi is correct. If you use a FA disconnector with a three position safety the hammer will follow the bolt. You must either mod the safety, the disconnector or both. This is not an issue with a standard semi disconnector like the OP is using but some may simply buy a complete FA trigger group.

Sure... only if you're using an Auto disconnect. Simply, the vast majority of disconnects on the market are semi. I should have qualified my previous statement.

I only mention it because previously the easiest (only) way to get a FA safety (3 posn) was to buy a complete FA trigger mech. No one was selling just the safety. Early that has changed.

Pics bro? :)

You ever try and run it on subsonics? If so how'd she do?

Thanks!

My range is handguns only but this spring I'm joining an outdoor rifle range. So i havent even got to try the thing out yet. Very curious to see how it operates or if I'll have to change the buffer or gas block. I just jumped on a 14" upper in 5.56 so i can make the most of the rifle with cheaper ammo as well.

make expensive noises with 300blk match ammos. HOWEVER, 300blk were meant to run in a short barrel setup, 14" and below. Most 16" 300blk barrels run a pistol length even though the real estate is there to allow for a carbine or even mid length. problem is the powder burn rate, by the time it gets to the 7inch mark. Most gas pressure have been lost already.

If the burn rate is the problem, changing the powder is the solution. IS 300 blk out is designed to run in a short barrel as you say (i'm not convinced) then factory ammo will be made to ensure complete powder burn before 14", and probably just before 14". In reality most 300 blk ammo will still be throwing un burnt powder out of a 14" barrel.

Either way, you will not even be close to having lost most of the gas pressure by the 7" mark. If that were true, there would be no need for a suppressor.

if your running a 14" barrel, and " most" gas pressure is lost at 7" how does the bullet make it out the end of the barrel? and when it makes it out the end of the barrel how does it make it down range ? I call BS

Notwithstanding the fact that SKY52 is wrong about the pressure loss after 7", the answer to your question is easy: Inertia.

I was thinking about getting this "enhanced" lower parts kit, let me know what you think: https://selectshootingsupplies.com/ergo-enhanced-lower-parts-kit-w-o-fire-control/

OMG that combo kit looks PERFECT for this build! Thanks so much, ordering now.

Would their flatwire spring and buffer setup be as quiet as the JP silent capture?

Not super concerned about accuracy but need a barrel as short as possible for this project. I had a 3" barrel on order with a z tech armory but Canada Customs rejected it three times so they gave up on importing it.

As soon as I'm able I'll answer your question, hopefully before christmas.
Whooow....it looks awesome.
I can imagine how much our friend Justin T. would love to „buyback” it from you ASAP...

My head is full of them, why not my pockets too? lol. You can't take it hunting so I don't really care what the weight would be. It'd probably still weigh less than my x95 with my M203!

That's a fair point. I've been wanting to machine a brass lower and put on fancy wood furniture, like a modern day cowboy rifle. It's on the project list.

Nobody sells the m16 (full auto) safety selector anymore... never should have sold mine a year ago... crap. I wonder if a strike industries one can be made to spin around to the full auto postion... just for looks of course.

Is this a 3 position? Or just a different position then normal. possibly just the 3P in the part number maybe making it come up in a 3 position search
I remember seeing them available in the past, but possibly no more like you say

Taking a regular one to the machine shop for some mods might be the only way
