I am curious to know where people are finding the same thing for less $$ ? There are a couple recent auctions at Rock Island Auction Co, one is fully authentic and original USMC provenance that sold for at least $12000 USD and also a "put together one" like the one we are promoting, it was an original military 1903A1 that was refinished and then a reproduction scope mounted; that one sold for at least $4000 USD

I appreciate that many people are saying this price is too high, but where are the cheaper ones?

The American gun market actually convolutes the current Canadian gun value market.

Surely as a dealer you would know this?.......

The American gun values are absolutely outrageous on some firearms. They seldom dictate actual Canadian firearms values here.

I love the guys who ask ridiculous gun prices on here or Gun-Post because they saw a similar gun in the USA with an atrocious asking price. These characters are almost entertaining at best.......

Pricing is a little wonky but it's not exactly like there is a big market in Canada for this stuff to get a true value number. I would do the sticker draw with the caveat if all stickers aren't sold by X date, it's cancelled and stickers refunded. Let those that wanna play do so at their leisure. If someone wants it, let them, regardless of "actual" value.

it's a proven fact that when you spend money on something that you cherish you do not get your investment back
if he spent 5 k on that gun it's his forever

I guess you have to ask yourself, will anyone see enough value to buy this for the full price? Is there enough demand to drive a price like that?
