Out west, I believe they are still illegal to shoot. In Alberta they are, not sure on Sask. They make a mess of a fish pond, can wreck years of work in a few weeks.

As of 2022 regs in New Brunskwick you can still hunt all summer from March 1to September. Has always been that way. Just checked the regs from last years book and still the same.

We ate beavertail once. It was DISGUSTING. Like a fat explosion in your mouth.

Youre supposed to dip it in garlic butter like you would crab or lobster
