Any who are not of that description are being openly discriminated against based on race by your own government.

I suspect any of the big cases over 40 cal; 450/400, 416 Rigby, 458 Lott, 45-120, 470, just about anything 50 cal is CAPABLE of making 10,000J safely.

Don't waste your breath, Paul... his divisive kind are the reason these types of scenarios get off the ground in the first place, and then his type further alienate support groups needed to have any hope of a repeal. Unfortunately, these dogmatic types will not change, nor will they concede or give ground to the ideas and interests of others. An unfortunate reality in shooting sports, are all of the "sub-groups" who think they have it right and the others have it wrong. I see it all the time at the club, the IPSC guys going after the BP guys who go after the Rimfire crew who are pizzed-off at the pistol shooters... sickening and ridiculous.

How do we properly push back to get this amended? We would obviously have to do this in a professional manner to get proper attention but what are our options? This ban makes me sick. I don't even own any of the firearms on the list but I know its not going to stop here and eventually it will get stricter and stricter.

What is everybody's thoughts as to how we can get this amended?

Not only do we need to dispose of this OIC, we need to elect a government that will remove the ability to use Order in Council for future monstrosities.
Trudeau's daily briefings make me sick, I believe he thinks he's royalty speaking to the serfs.

Disposing of this OIC is not enough. We need to put an end to this crap.
Nothing should be allowed to bypass the commons in such an autocratic fashion. It should never have been allowed in the first place.

Velocity is squared in the formula calculation for kinetic energy, but energy is maximized (in the real world), with increased mass... most of the cartridges you mentioned are not 10K joule guns.

No, 10,000 joules is alot! The target was clearly the .50, but some other calibers like the .577, 600NE, 700NE would be over. 460 WM right on the fringe
