feeds it with 203gr SP MFS stuff
worked every year so far

Sweet mod! How is it weight wise, in case you have to sling it on your back for a long trek through the bush?
I've gotten good accuracy with both MFS and LVE 203 gr soft points. I have several rifles in this caliber, most like it. That said, I've also had pretty good luck loading my own 180s. Everything Russian that I load and shoot works better with a .312 bullet.
I should slug my SVTs and see what bore they are.... So what all entails loading a .312 bullet into 54r? Ru reloading from spent brass? Or just swapping out the bullets on already produced ammo ?
