Hunting with black rifles and semis. Who here does?

Haven't yet, but fully intend to hunt with my M305.

I've grown quite fond of the SKS, it's become my rifle of choice for wandering around, berry picking, fishing, etc. The shells are cheap and even children can handle the recoil if an impromptu shooting session occurs. I've taken deer, coyotes, skunks, and tree stumps with mine. I've had it in hand multiple times when encountering Grizzlies and it is a great comfort.

I had an M305, it went on a few Elk hunts, and I didn't care for it; too big, too heavy, not nearly the quality of the Russian SKS.

Ive used an XCR, Tavor, KelTec and didnt like them at all for hunting. They all sucked in the accuracy dept and in extreme cold I was getting issues. Bolt gun trump all for hunting minus birds where a nice semi auto helps.

Yes, I go through at least one big check every year at roadside.

luckily I have scared just about everyone that has issue with black rifles in the areas that I hunt over the years that the police and CO's know me as soon as its called in so they just mention the complaints in passing rather than looking for me anymore.

primarily ACR's in 50 beo, 450 bush, 30ar and 7.62x39. the odd 50bmg and 338 lapua as well

My hunting buddy used an XCR .308 last fall for his whitetail, was way too heavy to pack through the bush for him. He did bag a nice buck though

It's a 7.62x39 bolt face the 50 beo uses, your problem will be magazines in a mini mauser

It feeds from Alexander arms 50 beowulf magazines, all others are not reliable. The stanag pattern mag Double stacks 223, I believe your mini mauser (CZ 527) if bought in 7.62x39 to get the appropriate bolt face is a single stack as is the 223 version and therefore will not work.
