I have a tricked out SKS that I use for hunting as well as a "like-new" Winchester Mod.100 in .308 that I'm still in the process of working up loads for.

I started hunting moose with a H&K G3A3 converted from full back in the day, never did shoot one with it. Israeli army surplus, only $500, was not to worried about scratching it. have a nor 305 with 6 kills to its name. had a bren I wanted to take, but timing and the new laws did not allow. it was fun in the old days with the bren, ww2 army surplus ammo was $70 per thousand, and spare barrels were $25. most of the ammo was end of war production, and hardly had a shoulder, the dies must have been worn out at that point. the bren did not mind fire forming at all

I got a few with a G3 in the mid to late 80's. I shot a bear with an AK, and my wife shot a moose with it. That G3 was scary accurate, if a little heavy.

Great for dispatching multiple targets in quick succession: 9mm JR Carbine, SKS, Ruger Deerfield Carbine 44 magnum, Ruger Mini 30, Ruger Mini 14 and Remington 7400 35 Whelen.

How do you like hunting with the 9mm, I thought about using the sub2k for some kind of hunting.
