I see Dlask is offering conplete non-restricted ACR barrels now for $500

considering my local store has orders in for them and that is bushmasters estimated delivery date to them via email its sounds quite plausable

I will believe it when I see it.

Bushmaster has been promising people (and dealers) the barrel kits every year since the ACR came out. It's always been "In a few months". It's a running joke in the ACR community.

I think the same way but the items were never able to be ordered before as it simply didn't exist so hopefully it is no joke this time. These are also not kits, they are complete rifles, first "kit" to be released will be caliber conversions according to that email as well

Here's the normal polymer fore end and the extended polymer fore end

I just bought an ACR with a 12.5 inch barrel off the EE today, I couldn't see any reason to own one with a 16 inch so this one fit my want list perfectly. Came with Geissele trigger, both stocks, and standard forend.
I also got what I think was too good of a deal to pass up. I've bought from him before so I got a return customer deal :)
I plan to get a non restricted 223 and a 300 blackout barrel for it and get it reclassed. 12.5 inch for the range and 18.5 for everything else.

I can't wait to get it and take it to the range.

Unfortunetely you can't just slap on an 18.6" barrel and it automatically becomes non-restricted. It needs to be verified, and de-registered. Then if you wanted to put on the 12.5" barrel again you would need to re-register it.

So you're the one who snagged it. If you had backed out of the deal it was mine. I think you'll enjoy it. I can't speak for the accuracy on the 12.5" ones but the 18.6" ones are lasers.

I know it needs to be re-classed.
I'll look into it further before I do it but I doubt I will have problems putting the 12.5 back on at the range once in a while. I doubt the Canadian government is tracking us with satellites just waiting for a chance to send out the SWAT team if someone puts a short barrel on at the range.

I almost did back out. I had to put it on my line of credit, lol.
Need to sell my RFB to pay for it.
I was number two in line and I guess number one was trying to haggle him down too far and he finally said no.

I've been looking for one that is already non restricted or a short one. 16 inch is too close to non restricted yet still not that I didn't want to go that route but I almost bit the bullet and bought a brand new one yesterday when I was at Milarm. Was going to get a pretty decent deal on it but decided that this one was better for less money.

I'm hoping the 12.5 inch shoots well but I'm not overly worried if it doesn't. I see a couple longer barrels in it's future. If the 18.5 shoots well I'll be selling my HK as well.

So has anyone actually contacted Dlask yet to find out just how complete these $500 barrels are? Any details on them such as twist rate or which chamber is in them? I would love an 18.5 inch 1:8 with a Wylde chamber.

Edit,
I just emailed them, I'll post here when I get a reply.

My 18.6" ACR has a 1:8 twist with a wylde chamber and the accuracy is phenomenal. I use mine for gophers and have no problem making long range hits. The geiselle trigger really helps too. My brother's is a 1:7 twist 5.56 NATO chamber and his is a laser as well.

Where did you get a 1:8 wylde? Is that one of the ones Questar was selling?

Looks like a PTS to me: notice the gap in front of the front sight? The PTS MASADA has a longer top rail.

Is that a genuine part or PTS? Normally I'd answer this myself with a search, but the Bushmaster site..... well..... it sucks :p.

We have the ACR Basic Folder in stock, in both black and coyote, as well as the ACR Enhanced in black. The Basic Folder has the same folding stock as the Enhanced, with the handguard of the Basic model.

We have the ability to order any available parts from Gravel Agencies, and are verifiers with our own gunsmith and armorer.

If anyone is interested in putting together a non-restricted ACR, we would be happy to offer a discounted package.

Regards.

Ballpark price for barrel and gas system? Any caliber options? I want one in 300 Blackout as well as one in 223.
I'd find someone local to verify it to save on shipping across the country.
