here in B.C they only give me one license, yes it says for non restricted, and restricted. it looks like my driver license.

Does it ever occur to you guys who criticize peoples posts, that English is probably not their mother tongue ???? I mean, not everyone who has poor English written skills is some so called back woods boy with no education.
Maybe because I live in Quebec and I am used to seeing people do their best to translate text, that I am not quick to jump on the criticize band wagon, but come on guys, give the guy a break. Out of seven replies, 2 are insulting the guy.
Possibly because I had a sh!tty day today this is bugging me more than it should, but I have read too many threads where guys just insult someones post because of their poor English skills, without ever taking into consideration that English may not be their mother tongue.
Are you really retarded, or was this a joke?
also Billy usually before they give you your ATT you should become a member of a club, and then fill in the paper work.I think the forms they are going to send you are for your ATT.....There is going to be a question asking about what club you belong to....they usually ask for a photo copy of your club membership.I think you will need a temporary ATT from the shop to your residence, then another from your residence to your gun club.
X2 ..... Seems pretty obvious to me that 1: the guy's main language is French, and he's doing his best to be understood by anglos, which doesn't come naturally to many of us Frenchies. 2: The guy just bought a new handgun, which is still at the store, and he was denied an ATT to take it home because he isn't a member of a club (Quebec rules) and it turned into an argument with the not-so-nice CFC/CFO lady..
As a former high level handicapped athlete, whom actually had a shot at the Canadian paralympics team (long story short, I retired from the game, wheelchair basketball, before the tryouts that year, and have never touched a basketball again), I take pretty serious offense to the first statement, and I don't see much of a serious attempt at an apology towards Young Man Billy in your 2nd post.
Hi Rob, actually I'm a Chinese person, but good guess. I don't like English people too much, you see I was born in Hong Kong, and the English people there are not very nice. They always talk with their nose very high, and looking at you with their nose very high. It is okay I understand.
I'm a special olympic athlete, but I never made it to the provincial games, I'm sorry to hear that you no longer an athlete for the paralympic team.
Rob, it was an honest question. I guess i am just too Albertan to know the full PC dialect.

I don't know swifty...I re-read some of his other posts and noted inconsistencies within the same string, beyond simple tense. It's as if it's being purposely written that way.
I call bulls**t on this character.
wow, chill out people
I'm just here to talk about firearms, don't give me a western education christ. If I wanted to learn English I would be in school, not here on this forum where every white trash thinks they know something about proper English.
.....any honky tonk here can put their English pride aside for a second, and explain to me what is this form?

3.If you "Don't like english people", I'm curious why you'd move to a country that is made up of them.....
Seriously, your post has kinda pissed me off.

Ok back to billys' question.
yeah the form is for your ATT (authorization to transport) without it you'll do jail time if you get cought with your pistol outside your house. You can actually get the form online at the CFC. When you get the forms make sure you are a member of a club. Put on the forms that you are target shooting. Personal protection will only get your account red flagged. They list a bunch of s**t but really they only count 2 things as legit to auth your ATT. Don't get into details, they don't care, target or competition. You also need to bring your ATT with you every time you take your pistol to the range.
I never did make it to the Team, I made it on to the Junior Provincial team in '95, and had my ticket in hand for the '95 Canada games which I believe were held in Banff, AB which would have pretty much been my ticket for the paralympics tryouts, I ended up giving it all up. Can't say I regret it much, some of those injuries I sustained while an active player will never heal (fingers are all crooked and hurt to this day). Mind you I can still pull a trigger and enjoy the odd friendly milsurp competition.
