A 50 BMG upper for a standard AR-15 lower would likely be a popular item in Canada. These are available from a number of companies in the US, but none in Canada that I am aware of.

How many of these great ideas have even made it into a "for consideration list I wonder?

Sure some of the ideas are never going to happen but there are a few in this long thread that could happen easily enough under Canada Ammos current MO....
 
Pretty sure it's been posted earlier in the thread, but I think there would be quite a bit of interest in a semi-auto mag fed shotty.
Only few that come to mind are a Saiga (I want one so badly:() or Usas12, both of which are prohib.

I for one would be one of the first in line if they make that happen, cost no issue (but I love shotguns...).

Let me try.
How about a Luger Broomhandle, in 5.7HK with a delayed breach locked actuator, collapsible stock, with buckhorn sights?
Also one in two-tone.

I think the biggest down side to that is that would then mean that any chance of a drum/ higher capacity mag for the pump mag fed grizzly's would be gone, as they would only be limited to 5 rounds anyway.

Could design the mags differently for the semi's, but then how different they would be would probably be minimal and the RCMP would probably call em easily convertible bla bla bla, no go scenario.

My 2 cents.

Would get pretty unwieldy pretty fast though. The current Grizz-mags are single stack and already nearly as big as a 30 rd .223 AR mag, aren't they?
