Ideas for Dominion Arms

Oh, Oh,
Let me try.
How about a Luger Broomhandle, in 5.7HK with a delayed breach locked actuator, collapsible stock, with buckhorn sights?
Also one in two-tone.

I was more wondering if anyone at Canamo was considering some of the more realistic suggestions....

CanAm's strategy makes sense. Cover all the bases in a generic gun that many people would find interesting:

Bullpup: T97
High-end bullpup: Tavor
Pump: Grizzly of various barrel lengths and magazine types.
SXS: Backpacker
Semi-shotgun: Cougar + Turkish AR thingy.

For pistols and main battle rifles there's Marstar's M14s, various norinco pistols, M4rgery and other odds and ends. Never mind your vanilla Glocks, Sigs, S+Ws, Rugers and other "brand" names already covered by the other dealers. Let's not forget SKSs and CZs from the Eastern side of things.

I don't really see what else the market can absorb in the below 2000$ price point. Sure there will be many one-offs, that some people may buy, but your meat and potatoes are pretty much in the above list.

I disagree.
I think the (unrestricted) M1 Carbine in 7.62x25 would sell like hotcakes.

The m1 carbine would be similar to a cz but different in that it A)doesn't look like a commie/terrorist gun and B)Could likely use pistol mags.
I'd buy one in a minute as a truck/farm gun.

Similar in that it uses corrosive ammo.
Ballistics on the X39 are probably better too.

And the ballistics on the x54 are better yet, and all those Mosins can use corrosive ammo too, so I guess all those $100 Nagants out there are comparable to the CZ's too, eh?

Pistol mags would be nice, but this is doubtful since it would be a rifle after all.
Ja, just like AR15s never use 10 shot pistol mags, 'cause they are rifles, after all.

m1 carbine in 762x25 would be cool. Didn't a dealer(canam?) say the chinese still have the tooling for m1 carbines?

A Delisle style .45acp conversion kit with fake suppressor and 18.5in barrel would be great fun for previously bubba'd Lee Enfields. :)

No need for such a long barrel. It's not a semi-auto, so as long as it's over 26" OAL, it's non-restricted.

X54 is not as cheap as X39, and not semi. You are probably going to say SVT, but I think the SVT is a tad cumbersone compared to a CZ.

Someone just has to make a m1 pistol that is widely available in Canada.
Presto, problem solved.:D

I'm not saying I would not pick one up.

But, for that idea to fly you would probably need:

-A good price.
-10 round pistol mags
-Chambere in X25.

Get those stars to allign and you may have a seller.

There was an M1 carbine pistol available in Canada, until some @$$holes decided to put it on the prohib list and confiscate them from their owners.

Former Prohibited Weapons Order No. 11
The firearms of the designs commonly known as the Iver Johnson Enforcer Model 3000 Auto Pistol and the Iver Johnson Plainfield Super Enforcer Carbine, and any variants or modified versions of them.

That's not actually bad looking, in how a puking midget tramp is not actually bad looking sometimes.
