Ideas for Dominion Arms

HAHA! Found it!

Actually, now that I think about it... An AR-15 upper could be pretty easy with a side-loaded mag, and it would seriously reduce the cost overhead.

There was a company that made a pistol size stamped/weld fab upper with a side magazine. Remember seeing it in a 80's issue of gun world. I think it was the A.R.C or something like that. My Google fu is week as adding A R C to any AR15 search just brings pages and pages of the new tangodown mags.

Mmmm except it must be sks-d , removable mag , but i'd prefer the "sawed off pistol grip" look.

Why would you want it to be an SKS d!?? The whole point is pistol magazines for a regular SKS. Hardly anyone has SKS-D's and even less have AK's. Also if you are saying the one in the pic is an SKS-D it is not. I don't know if it is actually functional though....

Please forgive me i don't have an sks. I thought the sks-d's had the removable mags? Couldn't you get a stamped 10rd removable mag legalized, kind of like how it was done with the ar15 "pistol" lar 10rd mags?

I'm confused about your intent ... did you mean you want to have 10 rounds of just the normal sks legalized so they would no longer require pinning?

I just want a cool looking pistol sks with a removable mag :D!

The SKS-D is an SKS made in China that takes AK-47 magazines so it would be useless for the majority of SKS owners. I want a normal type SKS pistol that takes removable duckbill type magazines. These magazines, like the tapco, are meant to fit the original SKS but can be removed because they are not attached at the front so instead of hinging forward and being attacted like the regular magazine they come free.

I just want to be able to use normal 10 round stripper clips in my SKS :D

Ah i always assumed those duckbill type mags were just longer "permanently attached" hinged mags, didn't know they could be quickly removed too. I see what you mean. Mmmmm excellent idea

A Dominion Arms Backpacker chambered for pistol and rifle rounds.

and/or

A DA Backpacker with a pistolgrip only stock and a barrel long enough (19"-20") to make it NR.

Could that be possible.

You can achieve this yourself, buy single shot 12 gauge, chop barrel, chop stock to pistol grip (maintaining legal oal) add insert 12 gauge to pistol calibre, enjoy.

Another CGNer in a different thread mentioned the above website.

I searched through and besides one other post didn't see anyone reccomending an over/under gun. Maybe something for camping like .410 and .22LR or something a little bigger like 20Gauge and .308

Funny I was just going to post that you guys never reply much about the suggestions that are easy conversions and quite possible......

Just use an Outlaw frame, a 20" 20ga barrel on one side and a fat .22lr barrel on the other. Groove the .22 barrel for a scope.
