IDF M14 parts kits picture thread!

Contact Vulcan gun refinishing to enquire about heel stamps. He is who I use.

Are there any pictures of the finished work he does with this anywhere?

Please and Thank You, anyone.

I am interested in doing this process.

This is my reciever I sent to vulcan, he then sent it off to get stamped, this picture is before he has parked it, so you can see the burn marks in the lettering, he has since sandblasted it and reparked, it took over 2 months but Is well worth it.

Thanks for the comparison picture machman.

It does have the notch cut out in it.

That is most interesting, Early 90's era norcs had the cut out in them but still doesn't explain why one of these rifles would have a norc op rod. Other than the original stamp being erased during a refinish I am stumped on this one.

I have a oprod like that.
No markings. American made. Got it with a custom build That didn't get finished. Can't remember what the seller told me it was Doesn't fit in any of my norks. By the wear looks like yours Has Seen F/A

Awesome work P4444 loving it.

Do you mind if I ask how much it cost you to have it stamped and park?

Do they polish the metal before hand or you need to do that before hand?

Thanks

That looks way better than the side marks. Did they keep them or remove?

The unmarked operating rod really looks like an early 1990's vintage Norinco part to me: it doesn't appear to be welded, so it was likely forged as one piece, and the machine work and finishing are consistent with Norinco. It sure isn't a TRW or SAK part. Doesn't make sense given the huge supply of spares they had, though.

Trades: I'm looking to trade an HRA trigger housing and safety for a Springfield Armory, a just about new HRA barrel for a TRW or Springfield Armory, and a Winchester operating rod for an HRA.

Hammer Winchester 66118 5546008

If that's the only Winchester part you have in your kit I'll trade you an HRA hammer for it if that interests you. I have an almost complete Winchester kit minus the hammer.

We did 3 recievers so we got a discount price. Somewhere around 130$ for engraving then 70$ to park after engraving. Didnt need to polish anything just send norinco reciever into vulcan. Then they got engraved. After the engraving he then sandblasted them and parked. They should be arriving this week and i can post some pics of the final finish
