If you could only choose one gun and it was between the following two, which would it be, and why?
1)Glock 17
2)Glock 22
Do you reload or plan to reload?
9mm is much cheaper to shoot if you are buying factory ammo but if you reload the cost difference is pretty negligible. IMO .40 is more fun to shoot so assuming I could shoot the same number of rounds through each I'd get the G22.
I keep hearing that but everytime I look around its only like 2 dollars different per box.
This will be be my first gun and likely one ill fire the s**t out of so I'm thinking 9mm because everyone needs a 9mm to beat up AND its probably smarter for me to learn the basics on a 9mm rather a .40 caliber. But I kind of feel like I might regret not getting something more fun to shoot...
G22 and if you want cost savings in target practice, Atchisson .22 conversion kit is available.
Maybe I shouldn't get too ahead of myself. Probably look at getting the g17 first because, let's be honest, I'm sure there will be plenty more to come.
G17... it's the original...
A conversion kit (like the Advantage Arms LE kit) will set you back about $400 in Canada.
If I thinking about buying another Glock, I'd give serious consideration to the G34.
