My exact thought s well, as I have \more than enough rifles in different cartridges and configurations.I would only purchase a rifle part, a new stainless steel Bob Jury barrel. It would be a great start to a newly built rifle.
If Bob Jury is your pinnacle of custom barrel makers, you’re climbing some really low hills.I would only purchase a rifle part, a new stainless steel Bob Jury barrel. It would be a great start to a newly built rifle.
Same comment as above…My exact thought s well, as I have \more than enough rifles in different cartridges and configurations.
In fact , I have one of my rifles at PR Precision right now getting a new Bob Jury Barrel installed!

Takes glock mags if you want capacity, or the little 5rnd Henry ones look much better.Hmm.....those are interesting. Could be a viable option
I have other brands of barrels as well, some turned out better, some not as good as far as pure accuracy and fouling, barrel life, etc.Same comment as above…

So I DidI’d save up a little bit more and buy an ultimatum hmb action.
Suggest running the Googler on the definition of pinnacle. What is you're correlation between Bob Jury Barrels and climbing really low hills?
Fast, cheap, and Albertan. One out of three isn’t great.Bob's Turnaround time is excellent however, and he is competitive as far as pricing goes.
And he is a Albertan as well.....

Spending more morey and eaiting longer for a barrel that will not shoot any better is not a productive venture either , but you go ahead and do whatever you want to.Fast, cheap, and Albertan. One out of three isn’t great.
Bob still must be offering discounts every time his name is mentioned on a forum?
$10 off so far?

I have never been offered any sort of discount by Jury and have no sponsor affiliation with him or KS Arms or RKS or Krieger who i also do business withFast, cheap, and Albertan. One out of three isn’t great.

No, but spending "more" money and waiting longer for a barrel that most certainly will shoot better would usually be considered the better option.Spending more morey and eaiting longer for a barrel that will not shoot any better is not a productive venture either.
