That's the spirit.
It's stuff like this that just ruins shooting sports for me. HEH CAN'T HAVE A VOICE IF YOU AREN'T 126 YEARS OLD.
And I've had GREAT gunbroker experiences to boot.

And then we have the $1,000 SKS on the EE, unrefurbished - with an inspection mark on the replacement stock, lol.
albanian sks are chrome lined.
You can say anything you want about sks or any other rifle I suppose, they call them super grade etc etc.. some are nicer than others, some have a laminated stock, some have Chrome bores! Some are blued and some parkerized. Other than that they are an sks, I have a few, love them, but the lies and stretching of the truth is outrageous and people fall for it thinking they are getting a better sks than the next guy!I honestly couldnt beleive it when i saw that....
any for sale before they reach $2000 ....
There are huge variations in condition. Most had some degree of refurbishment, some are original or very close to original. Some are completely mismatched. Some years and factory codes are more rare. Etc. Etc. This sets value, more or less. Most shoot about the same. If I were looking for a mint condition, all-matching specimen in its original form, I would most certainly pay a premium. Is $1000 alot for a quality-made firearm in premium condition? Not really these days. The good 'ol days of cheap as dirt SKS's is long over.
I've finally seen it all. There's a non-Yugo all matching 1949 SKS at a dealer in N.B. listed for $1,199+tax!!! LeBaron used to blow them out the door in the early 80s for under $120. This world has gone full-bore stupid.
Just want an SKS. Anything over 500 seems outrageous. New PAL owner, never owned one and want one. Am I dreaming or is it reasonable to get one in my budget of 3-500$.
there is a guy name mike, i wont mention his last name. he use to work for a gun dealer who thought he knew everything about guns. he always said sks prices are going lower everytime time westrifle said its going up.
he didnt know history repeats itself, what happened to the lee enfield back in the 70s happened to the sks. it starts with a huge over supply, so cheap we all bubbaed them (LE was sporterized), then the supply dried up, the prices spike.
