IN-STOCK NOW: Type 81 Picatinny Side Mounts + LMG Compensators + RU MIL PK06 Red Dots

In the short term I'm just slapping on a red dot, but the newer 3x or 5x Spitfire certainly look attractive. Only problem is that they don't offer a ballistic reticle that works with 7.62x39, and I'm not sure if the Primary Arms micro prisms will be available any time soon...

Anyone having trouble reinstalling the safety spring plate on the new hammer pin? I have wiggled the spring plate back and forth but the looks like my spring plate opening is a little bit too narrow.

I just finished installing mine and had the same issue, I got it in by tapping the spring plate onto the trigger pin first before the hammer pin.

Did you have do do any filing/deburring? Installing mine tonight, and wondering what kind of fight to expect

I did not have to do anything to my spring plate, it looked pretty clean with no burrs I could see or feel. Biggest challenge was trying to get it seated on the pins.

That's a beautiful tacticool Type 81 version, looks like a modern rifle :)

Another nice newly scoped black rifle-ish build.

The Zhukov stock sure looks nice on the Type 81. TI could probably make a bit selling Zhukovs pre-modded to fit Type 81 non-folders for less handy people.

What! Where did u get the zenitco accessories!?

AKstuff.com out of Georgia, two more pieces and I'm done with this build. Getting the muzzle brake installed is gonna be an interesting one, anyone know of any gunsmiths doing Type-81 barrel threading?

As for the stiff Right Side Safety, I had that problem initially, all I did was loosen the pin screws just enough till the safety is usable without affecting the mounts stability.

The issue I have is I got an original T81 with the grenade launcher, which isn't threaded. I only called around to a few local gunsmiths within AB and the best I got was ATR which is currently looking into it.

I test fit the plate on both pins before installing the pins
The slots on mine were too tight so I just ran them both on the side of a drill bit to open them up until the pins slid on nicely, then I installed the pins and plate into the receiver
