I'm sorry for "another one of those posts", but I am looking at buying a CIL 190 .22LR from someone. I have google'd like crazy, but can't seem to come up with much info on the gun.
I have shot it. It's a very nice gun. I want to know if it would be a good first gun for me. It's in good condition, a couple of small dings on the forestock, but nothing that concerns me. As well, I am not too worried about the resale value of the gun as there is a 99.9% chance I will never sell it, I will pass it down to my sons as they get of age.
More than anything, I would like to know what people think of the quality of the action and the barrel. The gun most definately shoots better than me, but I would think that buying an accurate used gun as my first would be better than buying a not so accurate new gun.
This gun will be used 100% at a range and I don't plan to hunt with it.
If anyone has any more info on the gun, or opinions, please feel free to post or let me know.
Thanks so much,
Corey
