I don’t believe these are honor guard rifles. I have seen the guards of the national flag close up in person and their aks and sks were brand new almost fully chromed.

Didn't know that a whole crate was available! Looks like some people see a great value in those SKS's. Do they think that their value will go up to $1,000 per piece or so? Hard to believe.

Somebody was flaming them pretty bad on the original thread about the price. I should have grabbed one for collection. They looked like ass but definitely for a reason.

A quick google image search can prove they're not fully chromed and look just like what is being sold here.
Notice the damage around the butt plates in the pic.

I believe they probably have a mix of fully chromed and almost fully chromed iv heard in recent years they’ve expanded the honor guard quite a bit. It can’t be wrong if their using it especially in training and to welcome a head of state from another country, cool nonetheless.

In the second vid at about 9:24 you can clearly see it isn’t fully chromed.
