Introducing C79A2's

They sold out overnight. IOP didn't happen because you have to email in to reserve one and they were gone before any could be reserved. Or at least that's my understanding of it.
 
Nothing...spoke to Armament a few days ago, and still nothing to report.

Must be waiting on a big contract for production or something.
 
Spoke with Armament last week, they are still waiting on the Civilian mounts for the C79's

The long story on the C79’s… the civilian mounts are backordered from Elcan. They have CF engraved mounts, tubes and covers in stock,
It’s just the Civilian mounts they don’t have. The Civilian mount is identical to the CF Military mount, it just does not have the C79A2 engraving on the mount like in the photo below.
They assemble these as the orders come in with either the Civilian mount or the CF mount. I have 20+ on back order with them currently.

They have assured me they will be getting them, they just have not been able to give me an ETA.

UPDATE

Good news today as the distributor has released the armalite green covers for the C79A2
scopes. Hopefully we see the mounts for the return of the complete scope shortly.

Covers are listed on our website and are ready to roll.

Spoke with the guys at Armament last week about this. Still not available from Elcan...but they
Have another idea of what can be done to supply the mounts without the C79A2 engraving.

Should have some more details shortly I hope.
 
Any word on more of these C79's? Anyone on here who bought one in the past and is done with it? I'd be willing to buy used if no new ones are available.
