I can't speak on behalf of Nordic Marksman but they are integrated with the rubber optic shroud, so if you somehow managed to damage them beyond the point where they are useful, the entire rubber optic shroud would have to be replaced. Based on the durability of the C79A2 I would imagine Nordic Marksman has never received such a warranty request.

Is it me, or is there suddenly a surge of the older versions of these in EE lately? At least three older C79s have popped up in EE in the last few weeks and previously to these ones, the market's been dry for the longest time.

What do these people know that others don't or has there recently been a few surplussed or something?

I think it is just people getting rid of their Diemaco collections. And also cashing in by selling the surplus scopes for more money rhan they bought the old scopes for

Two years ago or so, these were selling for about $400-600.

Maybe I haven't really been looking, but I don't recall seeing many in the EE for a good long time, then suddenly 3 pop up in the last two weeks...kinda wierd.

Does anyone know if those nifty green nylon covers are available anywhere? I think I missed the boat by 2 years.

Also, I've seen US marketed M145s with the M4 reticle pop up on the US market recently.

We only have 10 available. New in the box, direct from Elcan, full warranty etc.
Its impossible to predict when we will be able to get more of these. We have been waiting for over 2 years for these!

Those are incredible optics. I like the Elcan OS4x as well, one of the 2 is probably going to be my next optic.
