IPSC newbie question

Or you can visit an IPSC night in Burlington club on Tuesday or Wentworth on Thursday. There should be someone with a Shadow. .

Yes...just check over by the safety table. The Shadow owners usually have the gun in pieces...changing springs and such...and praying to the IPSC gods for a sign on how to fix the extraction/feeding issues

You sound as if the Open guns never jam. It is fun to watch some Open shooters at winter time warming up their guns on a heater, so the few thau gun won't perform as a cheap single shoot one. :D

I'll have to call BS on this one...

The open crowd don't shoot in the winter

This thread is great!!!

Thanks for all the great information on the different guns that are available. Out of curiosity how would the XDM in 9mm hold up... if it ever gets up here. That is kinda the gun im waiting for before i start....am i wasting my time?

Do you think it is going to help you to boost your score after you switch back to Open? :D

Actually I switch to Production...with a GLOCK!

There...I said it...Glock.

Glock, Glock, Glock, Glock, Glock, Glock, Glock, Glock, Glock, Glock, Glock, Glock, Glock

The word has lost all meeting :(

Careful, I shot with you at the Triangle and of the 5 open shooters on our squad, I don't recall any jams at all....how many did you have? Or to make it a smaller number, how many on average per stage?

He he. With all my jams and the broken slide stop, I still finished at 62%, which is quite better then Quigley's result in his division. He probably should switch to his Glock for a few years to catch up with you guys. ;)

Anyways, there is nothing in CZ that can't be fixed with a pair of pliers and besides, it is not even winter yet. We'll see what you say at the ipsc nights in December or January... :D

Not that I need to make excuses...but I stopped counting jams at about 15 (including the one that pulled the bullet out of the case and left it neatly in the barrel...and I wasn't able to finish the stage.

I should be flattered you take such an interest in my shooting...but I just find it a bit creepy.

Hey, you started it.

Those failures are no one but our own faults. We should know better to make sure that gun and the ammo work well before a major match.
