IPSC Production Division - all the hoopla??

 Stay classy...

If you ever get the privilege to meet Eric, you'll regret that stupid post.
His amazing skills aside; he's a really nice and humble guy who supports all the shooting sports and does not deserve that kind of commentary.

i dont drink that flavor of kool aid.

o.5
learn how to shoot, that may teach you to be more humble
I agree with Sean, Eric is not only the best but he is also super nice person

Sean is bang on, Eric is a damn cool dude, both on and off the range. He is always willing to help other shooters, even when in the middle of a match. Hell he even works on guns that aren't Tanfoglio at big matches in Europe.

IMO there are only two guys who you could claim to be the best action pistol shooters in the world right now, EG and Max. Peter, who are you suggesting?

Yes. Bloody iPhone, sometimes eats words, changing the sentence. Off course I meant that Eric is the best.

So some one that is most likely not even 0.00001% as good as Eric with Zero Feedback store and Join Date Jun 2015. You sure like to armchair commentator. You just come off as an arrogant, ignorant noob and in all honesty your attitude sure needs re-adjusting.

IPSC/USPSA is the Formula 1 of shooting sports. I shoot IDPA too but too many rules. I dont believe there is an "Arms Race" People shoot what they want to shoot and or can afford. If you are a good shooter you can shoot well with any gun. It is much more about the shooters ability than the equipment. Equipment wont make you better, lots of training will. There are a lot of impractical things/rules in IDPA too.

Amen,
Maybe someone can define the term "Arms Race" for me, There was a time when my carry gun a 1911 was modified a little bit by replacing the grip safety, thumb safety with Ed Brown, Bomar rear sight, magwell and a triiger job. Its the same gun that I use for IPSC in the late 80"s and early 90's until Para Ordnance came out with a wide body the P14 model. I did the same modification with my Para Frame 1911 for carry with 14 rounds on the mag / compete with it. AM I considered an ARMS RACER? , well I call these things enhancements, because it improves the handling features.

Don't agree with "Arms Race", more of a slow progression.....as is life.
Identical to other competitive sports (golf with hickory shafts, or persimmon heads and balata golf balls)

NSSA skeet...

Back in the day, everyone ran pumps in sets because that was the best at the time.
Then came Semis in sets because that was the best at THAT time.

Then came the O/U with tubes....and here we sit.

The top guys would be at the top regardless. IMHO
As with anything in life, things move on and progress.

Adapt or not. Choice is yours.
